Announcing the Selected Artists for WOMCOM AiRs 2024

We are delighted to announce the results of the Open Call 2024 for WOMCOM AiRs, our international artist residency program!

WOMCOM AiRs continues to serve as a platform for artists to explore community, identity, and storytelling through artistic collaboration and cultural immersion. These residencies provide a unique space for interdisciplinary exchange, allowing artists to engage in meaningful dialogue and develop new projects in vibrant creative environments.

With a strong pool of applicants from across the region, the selection process was both inspiring and challenging. We are thrilled to introduce the talented artists who will take part in WOMCOM AiRs 2024!

Women Power in Comics (WOMCOM) is a collaborative initiative involving partners from Serbia, Hungary, Slovenia, Greece, Croatia, and Montenegro. This two-year programme (2023-2024) aims to foster collaboration and engagement among comic authors and illustrators with the goal of investigating and addressing gender issues in comics as well as empowering female comic artists through residencies, exhibitions, and conferences.
