The WOMCOM exhibition, which opened on September 13, 2024, at Students' Cultural Center Novi Sad during the 18th Novi Sad Comic Weekend, showcased the powerful outcomes of the WOMCOM residencies in Novi Sad, Zánka & Budapest, and Podgorica. The exhibition featured works created by female comic artists from across Europe, exploring themes of gender, identity, and empowerment through a distinctly feminine perspective. As part of the Women Power in Comics (WOMCOM) initiative, the exhibition emphasized the importance of amplifying diverse artistic voices, celebrating the creative potential of women in comics. By highlighting the residency outcomes, the exhibition provided a platform for underrepresented voices to share their narratives, challenging societal norms and fostering greater visibility for female comic creators.
