Sara Novaković is a 26-year-old artist based in Serbia. Although she graduated with a major in graphic design, her true passion has always been in illustration and comics. From a young age, Sara has been a daydreamer with a pencil in hand, using art as a means to translate her experiences into original stories and characters. For her, creating art has been a way to cope with the challenges of reality, channeling her inner world onto paper.
Novaković’s approach to art has never been driven by a desire for financial gain. Instead, it remains an intimate and personal endeavor that she hesitates to monetize, fearing it might lose the deep value it holds for her. However, she is passionate about sharing her work with a broader audience, hoping it will resonate with others and offer a sense of connection and understanding.
Currently, Sara works in hospitality, dedicating most of her free time to illustration and an original comic she has been developing for the past four years. This comic is a deeply personal project, telling the story of a young woman with big dreams, who struggles with an overbearing past that continues to shape her present. With over 100 pages planned, Sara is determined to complete this ambitious project by the end of the year.
