WOMCOM Exhibition at Tinta Festival in Ljubljana (2024)

The WOMCOM artist residents participated in the 2024 Tinta Festival in Ljubljana, held from 9 to 13 October. The exhibition showcased works by female comic artists from across Europe, exploring themes of gender, identity, and empowerment. As part of the WOMCOM initiative, it highlighted the importance of amplifying diverse voices and celebrating women in comics.

Featuring the artistic outcomes from all four residencies, the exhibition offered a unique opportunity to view the creative work of 35 artists. It marked the closing event of the WOMCOM program, emphasizing the lasting impact of the initiative in empowering female comic artists and increasing their visibility in the industry.
