Katarina Šeme (b. 1993) is an illustrator and 2D computer animator who lives and works in Ljubljana, Slovenia. In 2017, she graduated from ALUO in Ljubljana with a degree in visual communications. She has worked as a graphic designer in Slovenia, Cyprus, and Belgium. A scholarship provided her with the opportunity to study traditional arts and culture in Indonesia for a year, which served as the inspiration for her first novel, "Sumatra - A Year on a Tropical Island." In addition to her work in comics, Katarina Šeme is also active as an animator and graphic designer.
