The Belgrade International Comics Festival, known as the Salon Stripa, is organized by the Student Cultural Center's (SKC) Happy Gallery in Belgrade. It stands as the largest comics event in Serbia and one of the most significant in Southeastern Europe. Held annually during the last week of September (from Thursday to Sunday) at the Student Cultural Center, the festival offers a diverse and dynamic program. Key components include an open international competition for comic creators of all ages, presentations by renowned comic artists from around the world, retrospectives highlighting the domestic comic scene, and initiatives to support emerging talents and publishers. The festival also plays a pivotal role in popularizing comics, animation, and illustration through exhibitions, workshops, and educational programs designed to engage a wide audience.
