Márton Hegedűs is a comic book artist, graphic designer and animation film director based in Budapest, Hungary. He has worked as an illustrator and designer for leading magazines, children’s books and textbooks. In addition to his own animated short films, he produces applied animations for television and theatre. Hegedűs has made several comic strip series for both printed and online media. His graphic novel “Slussz Kulcs Klán” (Car Key Clan), published in 2012, received the Graphic Novel of the Year award. He has also worked as a coordinator/moderator and jury member in animation and comic art competitions. Hegedűs regularly teaches courses on creating comics, wherein he aims to impart professional knowledge to students while focusing on nurturing their creativity and individuality.
